Ankita M. Kumar

Ankita M. Kumar is an award-winning Indian journalist and documentary filmmaker based in California. Her directorial debut, Far from Home, about Afghan refugees in Delhi, was funded by the Pulitzer Center, premiered at the Oscar-qualifying American Documentary and Animation Film Festival, screened at the Oscar-qualifying Tasveer Film Festival, was a finalist for NHK's Japan Prize and was runner-up for Best Short Documentary at the Chicago South Asian Film Festival.
